Cassandra Nova is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics' X-Men titles, first appearing in X-Men Vol. 2 #114 (December 2001). She is the Mummudrai of Charles Xavier, essentially his parasitic twin born without a body.

Within the MCU, Cassandra Nova is rumored to be appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine. Details about her role are scarce, but set photos have shown a character with a gold pistol and distinct overcoat that could be her.

If Cassandra Nova were to appear in the MCU, speculation exists whether she would retain her comic book origins or be adapted in another way, similar to other characters adapted from the comic book medium.
